Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Nature South offers a discount if we book with more than one of you. How much is this ?
A: The multi booking discount is 10% off each operators STANDARD tariff.

Q: If we book with 2 or more of you can we make a single payment.
A: At the moment no, unfortunately you will need to pay each individual operator, but we will liaise closely and make the booking and payment as seamless as possible.

Q: We notice Sails Ashore and Kowhai Lane on Stewart Island have a special deal with regard airfares to the the island. If we book with another member of Nature South, but not with Sails Ashore do we still qualify for the airfare discount ?
A: No. That deal requires you stay either at Sails Ashore or Kowhai Lane Holiday Home.

Q: Can you help us with suggestions for other things do do in each area ?
A: Yes, of course. We have all been resident for many years in our individual areas, and we know the good things to do and who to do them with. Please ask the operator concerned.

Q: I have some mobility limitations, can I enjoy the tours you all offer ?
A: This will vary from tour to tour, but we each can offer you at least some of our individual tours. Please contact the appropriate operator and discuss this with them.

Q: You are all well separated. What options might we have travelling between you.
A: There are many rental car companies in New Zealand, with many second tier operators offering much more favourable rates than the "big 4". The cars are reliable and the companies generally reputable.

Q: Can you suggest other locations to visit while in New Zealand.
A: Certainly we can, and we are all only too happy to help our confirmed guests.

Q: What will we need in the way of footwear, clothing & etc to enjoy your tours.
A: All our tours are different, and each of us will be happy to advise. But do remember New Zealand's climate can be quite changeable and dress accordingly. Layers are best.
